About

I was born in Palermo, Italy, in 1991.

I have been living in Brussels since 2018, where I work in the field of communication for research and innovation projects.

I have been shooting since I was a child and my relationship with photography changed as I grew up, from a tool to freeze time and shape memories to a medium for practising the art of observation.

For me, photography is the exploration of what is interesting in the ordinary – a practice that has little to do with "what" you see but with "how" you see it.

As Leonard Freed said, "Ultimately, photography is about who you are. It's the seeking of truth in relation to yourself. And seeking truth becomes a habit".

As you can see from my portfolio, I work across several photography niches, including architecture and interiors. This portfolio is available on my other website.

Among my recent clients is the European Commission, the Council of Europe, Expertise France, the Party of the European Left, Bozar, Ancienne Belgique, VK, Maison du Peuple, and Muziekpublique.

I speak English, Italian and French.
